Las Vegas NV and it's vicinity.
Over the last 103 years the Las Vegas community has been and continues to spearhead many and varied philanthropic projects of which Mesquite Club members donate their time, financial support and energy.
A prime example of this is on November 14, 2014, Evening Mesquite Club held their Holiday Craft Auction. 100% of the proceeds went to Welcome Home Troops, Las Vegas and Evening Mesquite Scholarship Fund.. The 2015 recipient will be "Brandolyn's Gift.
Various other organizations supported by the entire club include but are not limited to Doris French Elementary School, Shade Tree Shelter, USO, Melanoma Research Foundation, Kids to Kids Reading Program, items for women's shelters and the Salvation Army canned goods drive.
Evening Mesquite has chosen The City Impact Center for their 2015-16 community service project.. In addition, over 135, Beauty Bags will be delivered to Shade Tree in. July. Daytime raised $2,009 for community service for the 2014-15.
Mesquite Club offers women an opportunity to make a difference in the community, to form lasting friendships and to pursue life-long learning.
Each member has a strong desire to work together for a higher purpose. Several ladies have been members for over 60 years.
We are an IRS recognized 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.

Functions and Fun
Within our membership, we have two groups that meet on a regular basis. The "Daytime" group meets three Fridays a month. The "Evening" group meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. The club year runs from September through May.
Social activities include: The club's own "New Sound Choir"", Watercolor classes, Poker classes, card game events, Book Club, Art Club and Craft Club. These activities are open to all interested members.
